Lab Differences for Walk-In Tests
Last updated: April 23, 2025
This article outlines the key differences and similarities between our supported lab providers (Labcorp, Quest, and Bioreference) for walk-in blood draws and appointment booking.
Common Process Across All Providers
Patients receive white-labeled communications from all providers
Walk-in process is consistent: patients only need to bring photo ID, and lab staff can look up their order in the central system
A copy of the order is included in the patient's email for reference
Appointment Booking Process
Lab | Lab Booking URL | |
Quest | Available through our API integration; can be booked directly through our platform | questhealth.com/appointment-scheduler |
Labcorp | Requires redirect to Labcorp's website | labcorp.com/labs-and-appointments |
Bioreference | Requires redirect to Bioreference's website | bioreference.com/patients/locations-patient-services/find-a-location |
Important Notes
For Labcorp and Bioreference, appointment booking is only available through their respective websites
The Labcorp booking page may display third-party promotional content that cannot be removed
Quest offers the most integrated booking experience through our API
If you want to avoid redirecting patients to external sites, you can encourage walk-in visits without providing appointment booking links. All providers support walk-in visits with just a photo ID.
