Understanding and Managing User Limits in Sandbox Environments
Last updated: June 18, 2025
User Limits in Sandbox
Sandbox environments are currently limited to 50 users. This limit is hard-configured and applies to all sandbox accounts.
Managing Users Within the Limit
To work within this limit, you can delete users when you need to make space for new ones. However, we understand this may not be ideal for all testing scenarios, especially those involving longitudinal testing or extensive daily testing.
Best Practices for Testing
While working within the current limit, consider the following strategies:
Prioritize which test users need to remain in the system long-term for longitudinal testing.
Create a rotation system for short-term test users that can be deleted more frequently.
Document important test user data externally before deletion if needed for future reference.
Limitations and Considerations
We acknowledge that the current user limit may present challenges for:
Extensive daily testing (creating 10-20 test users per day)
Long-term testing scenarios (8-12 months)
Accurately mirroring production environments
Future Updates
We are actively reviewing this limitation and considering options to increase or remove the user limit in sandbox environments. Stay tuned for updates on potential changes in future releases.
